Career
She received her initial professional training at the M Zone Dance Studio in Bhubaneswar, followed by mentorship under veteran choreographer Mandakini Jena. She is trained across a wide range of styles, including Kathak, classical, folk, Mayurbhanj Chhau, salsa, jazz, and Bollywood — a versatility that would later set her apart on national television.
Arundhati launched her professional career in 2014 with the dance reality show Dance India Dance Season 4 on Zee TV, where she was part of master Firoz Khan’s team and made it into the top six contestants. However, during the show she suffered a severe spinal cord injury and was forced to quit. That setback could have ended her journey, but it only strengthened her resolve.
In 2016, she joined the Terence Lewis Dance Company (TLDC) in Mumbai and appeared on the dance show So You Think You Can Dance, aired on &TV. Her association with Terence Lewis proved to be a turning point, sharpening her technique and opening new doors.
In 2020, she became part of Terence Lewis’s dance project The Kamshet Project, and also performed at the Khelo India University Games held in Cuttack, Odisha.
Her biggest breakthrough came in 2021 when she competed in Dance Deewane Season 3 on Colors TV. Her performances left celebrity judges speechless — Madhuri Dixit was so moved that she whistled for Arundhati and praised her dance unreservedly, while Remo D’Souza, Dharmesh Yelande, and Raghav Juyal were equally emotional. Veteran actor and dancer Javed Jafri remarked that having watched dance shows across the world since the 1980s, including Broadway, Arundhati was a dancer of international level. She finished in the top five of that season.
In 2023, Arundhati transitioned fully into choreography, working on India’s Best Dancer Season 3 on Sony Entertainment Television, where she choreographed contestant Apeksha Londhe. In 2024, she continued in that role by choreographing Glenn Saldanha on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 11, also on Sony TV.

On the personal front, Arundhati has kept her family life private and has not shared details about her parents publicly. She is currently single. She is based between Mumbai and Bhubaneswar and is active on Instagram, where she shares dance, fitness, and lifestyle content with around 133K followers.
Her estimated net worth stands at approximately ₹60 lakh, drawn from television work, brand endorsements, and other investments. Arundhati’s journey — from a spinal injury that threatened to end her career to becoming a sought-after choreographer on India’s top dance platforms — is a testament to the kind of persistence that defines truly exceptional performers.
